First Fridays at the America Building
April 2022
April 1st, 6:00PM - 9:00PM
Marcus Stevenson & Tiana Graves
Hosted by ki.co Marketing
Join us in April and see works from artists Marcus Stevenson & Tiana Graves. About Tiana: The majority of my works deal with a sense of space and identity in a home setting- my earlier sculptural works reference the basic model of a home, wallpapered with silhouettes of figures from found photographs. Some of these themes continue into the photographic quilt which references historic scrap or charm quilts, piecing together decades worth of altered, found photographs.

Jema Anderson & Elijah Cordova
Hosted by Gem Salon
Join us this Friday in celebrating Fort Collins artists Jema Anderson and Elijah Cordova. Elijah Cordova is a Fort Collins native hairstylist, makeup artist and illustrator inspired by the potential of using our outward appearance to dive into the depth of our inner most selves. Jema Anderson creates beautiful acrylic art on canvas capturing memories of sea and sky. Water is a central theme to her works; as she describes it, 'water is about connection.' It connects us to our humanity, is calming and is ever-changing.

Open Studio
Hosted by Gale Whitman Studio
Being human is complex: joyful, disappointing, exciting, lonely, hopeful, confusing. I believe that creating and sharing my heartfelt artwork can help connect people, encouraging them and allowing them to feel understood. I draw inspiration from nature and the resilient human spirit, often using saturated colors in engaging combinations to attract the eye of my viewers and to affirm their inner beings.
